Baylor Law Grad Earns Third-Highest Score on July Texas Bar Exam

Baylor Lawyer Stephanie Schwab (JD '13)earned the third-highest score on the July Texas Bar exam.

Schwab, an associate at Naman Howell Smith & Lee in Waco, is profiled in the latest edition of Texas Lawyer.

Last month, results from the July Texas Bar exam were released and Baylor Law School once again had the No. 1 exam passage rate.

Baylor Law School had a 97.52 percent pass rate. At No 2 was the University of Texas at Austin with a pass rate of 95.52 percent. The state's overall passage rate among those who took the bar exam for the first time was 86.05 percent.

Texas has nine law schools, and since 2001 Baylor Law has been No. 1 on 18 of 25 bar exams given.
