Judge Charles W. Barrow, a former Texas Supreme Court Justice who served seven years as dean of Baylor Law School, passed away peacefully in the company of family members on Sunday, June 25. He was 84.
Gov. Bill Daniel, the famed, flamboyant Texas trial lawyer and Baylor University law graduate who served as the Governor of the U.S. Territory of Guam, died at his home in Liberty, Texas, on Tuesday, June 20. He was 90.
Beaumont attorney Bryan O. Blevins Jr. has been honored as the 2006 Baylor University Young Lawyer of the Year. Blevins received the award at the annual reception of the Baylor Law Alumni Association, held June 15 in Austin during the State Bar of Texas Convention.
