Yvette Marascia serves as the Legal Assistant to the Legal Clinics. She previously served as a Student Account Services Representative in the Cashier’s Office at Baylor University. As the wife of an Air Force veteran and base fire chief, serving veterans and first responders alongside our students is deeply rewarding for Yvette. Growing up in the Rio Grande Valley, serving Texans with their immigration needs is a deeply meaningful way of helping those in need. As a former small business owner, she enhances the work of the Intellectual Property Law and Entrepreneurship Clinic with her understanding of many of the needs of our clients.
She received an Associate of Applied Sciences degree in Human Services from Honolulu Community College at the University of Hawaii, and a Bachelor of Science degree from Excelsior College.
Yvette is a proud Baylor parent and an Alumni by Choice. After being stationed in many different places across the United States, her family, including her three children, Carlos, Briani, and Rocco, have found their forever home here in Waco, Texas. They are members of St. Louis Catholic Church.
