Colin O'Neill has practiced law his entire career of some 25 years in Central Texas with Fulbright Winniford, P.C. He has tried over 120 lawsuits during that time, which have ranged from complex medical malpractice suits, personal injury claims to business disputes. His practice area include civil litigation, defense litigation, personal injury and medical malpractice.
Colin earned a B.B.A. degree from Baylor University where he graduated with honors in 1984. He earned his Juris Doctorate from Baylor Law School in 1985 and was admitted to the Texas Bar that same year. He is actively involved with Bar Activities. He has served as the President of the McLennan County Bar Association for 2011 and 2012, has served as President of the McLennan County Young Lawyers Association from 1997-1998, is a member of the Texas Association of Defense Counsel and an advocate member of the American Board of Trial Advocates. He was named the State of Texas outstanding Young Lawyer in 1995.
Colin has also been involved in the community and his church. Along with David Dumas of the firm, he teaches the Health Law course at Baylor Law School.
He is the proud father of Megan and Kelsey. Megan, who is attending the University of Chicago Law School, was the salutatorian for the 2005 class of Midway High School and a 2009 magna cum laude graduate of Georgetown University. Kelsey lead her team to the 2008 State Volleyball Championship her senior year at Midway High School. Kelsey, having majored in psychology and being active in K-Life ministries, is a 2012 graduate with honors from Baylor University.
