Law Review Article Written by Third-Year Baylor Law Student Juan Antonio Solis Cited in Motion for Rehearing Before the TX Supreme Court Aug. 12, 2019 Juan Antonio Solis’ Closing the Door on Fraud Plaintiffs: Carduco’s Effect on Claims for Fraudulent Inducement in Texas, published in the Baylor Law Review in the Spring of 2019, cited in a Motion for Rehearing before the Supreme Court of Texas. Baylor Law Again Ranks Highly in Law School Graduates Hiring Report Jul. 15, 2019 Baylor Law’s 2018 class ranks 21st in the nation for employment according to an analysis of American Bar Association (ABA) data by Law.com. Almost 85% of the 2018 graduates from Baylor Law were employed in what is considered the "gold standard" category of positions requiring a bar license roughly 10 months after finishing their studies. Baylor Law mourns the passing of Legal Aid legend Bill Kimble (J.D. ’69) Jul. 9, 2019 William “Bill” Kimble of Waco, Texas, passed away on June 14th, 2019. He was born on September 14th, 1945, in Uvalde, Texas, to Gussie and Paul Kimble. He graduated from Baylor University with his Bachelor of Arts in 1967 and his Juris Doctor in 1969 and worked for more than 25 years at Lone Star Legal Aid, where he dedicated his life to providing legal representation, education, and advocacy to underserved communities in Texas. Engineering and the Law: A Powerful Combination Creates a Unique Case File for Top Gun X Jun. 27, 2019 Baylor University School of Engineering Professor Joe Donndelinger used his extensive engineering and design experience to create a realistic analysis of the design of a bike part and 3D printed pieces for use by advocates throughout the Top Gun X National Mock Trial Competition.
