Professor Jim Wren Named the Leon Jaworski Chair of Practice & Procedure at Baylor Law Sep. 25, 2019 On Monday, September 16, Dean Brad Toben announced to faculty that Professor James (Jim) Wren has been named the Leon Jaworski Chair of Practice & Procedure at Baylor Law. The Chair was previously held by Baylor Law luminaries Matt “Mad Dog” Dawson, Louis Muldrow, and Bill Underwood. Dual Degreed: Erika Griffin Thrives in Healthcare Law and Administration Sep. 13, 2019 Erika Griffin, a twenty-eight-year-old 3L is blazing a new trail at Baylor Law. Griffin will be the first student in Baylor’s Dual-Degree program to simultaneously complete the Law School’s Healthcare Law Professional Track and the Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in healthcare administration at the Hankamer School of Business. Professor Robert P. George to Speak at Baylor Law on the Constitution and Civic Virtue in an Environment of Partisanship and Incivility Sep. 3, 2019 Professor Robert P. George, the McCormick professor of jurisprudence and director of the James Madison Program in American Ideals and Institutions at Princeton University, will deliver the lecture at the fifth annual John and Marie Chiles 'Starr Federalist Papers Lecture Series,' from 4 to 5pm on September 18, 2019, in the Jim Kronzer Appellate Advocacy Classroom & Courtroom, Room 127, at Baylor Law. Baylor Law Takes Top Spot at E. Earle Zehmer National Workers’ Compensation Moot Court Competition Aug. 29, 2019 Baylor Law has started the 2019-2020 competition year off with a bang with a win in the 31st Annual E. Earle Zehmer Workers' Compensation Moot Court Competition. Baylor Law has now won the Zehmer Competition two years in a row.
