Likewise, the CDO works with employers to make the process of identifying top-flight young lawyers simple—with free on-campus interviews, résumé collection based on each firm’s specific needs, and job postings outside of the normal on-Campus interview program.

Baylor Law Receives Prestigious E. Smythe Gambrell Professionalism Award from the American Bar Association Aug. 13, 2018 The American Bar Association’s Standing Committee on Professionalism has named Baylor Law a recipient of the 2018 E. Smythe Gambrell Professionalism Award for its “Practice Ready” program. The Gambrel Award honors excellence and innovation in career and professional development programs that enhance professionalism among lawyers. Baylor Law’s Legal Mapmaker 2018 teaches law grads how to start a law firm and reach underserved communities Jun. 28, 2018 Legal Mapmaker is a collaborative program sponsored by every law school in the state of Texas and other organizations designed as an effective solution to this problem. Designed by Baylor Law, Legal Mapmaker is a three-day series of workshops and seminars that instructs lawyers and recent law school graduates how to start their own law firm with overhead that is far less expensive than the norm.
