September 15th marked the start of Hispanic Heritage month, a four-week cultural celebration that runs through October 15th. Susan J. Lambert Barnett, JD ’89, recently made partner in the faith-based Estate Planning and Elder Law firm of Haiman Hogue, PLLC in Frisco, TX.
Dick Tye, JD ’89, has joined Clark Hill PLC in San Antonio as Of Counsel in the Tax and Estate Planning practice. He is Board Certified in Estate Planning and Probate Law and Tax Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He is past president of the San Antonio Estate Planners Council and currently serves as president of the Baylor Law Alumni Association.
Deborah M. Perry, JD ’97, with Munsch Hardt Kopf & Harr, P.C. in Dallas, has been named a Texas Super Lawyer for 2021 in the area of Bankruptcy. She was also recognized in the list of Top Women Attorneys in the area of Business Bankruptcy.
Christopher B. Trowbridge, JD ’98, managing partner with Bell Nunnally in Dallas, has been named to the 2021 Texas Super Lawyers list in the area of Business Litigation. He was also included on the Super Lawyers Top 100 Dallas/Fort Worth list.
Steven Ogle, JD ’05, has been promoted to the role of Deputy Director at the Texas Sunset Advisory Commission. He will also continue to serve as General Counsel.
Brian Shaw, JD ’06, has joined Carrington, Coleman, Sloman & Blumenthal, L.L.P. as a Partner.
Saba F. Syed, JD ’13, Senior Associate with Bell Nunnally, has been named to Best Lawyers 2022 “Ones to Watch” list.
