David C. Kent, JD '78, with Faegre Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP in Dallas, received a Presidential Citation for his service to the State Bar of Texas from State Bar President Randy Sorrels at the meeting of the SBOT Board of Directors in June.

Harper Estes, JD '79, has been awarded the Luther (Luke) H. Soules III Award by the Texas State Bar Litigation Section.
Robert Little, JD '05, Baylor Law's Director of Advocacy Programs, has been elected to serve as Treasurer on the Executive Board for the newly created National Association of Legal Advocacy Educators (NALAE).
David Lovell, JD '08, joins the business and entertainment law firm Shackelford, Bowen, McKinley & Norton, LLP in Dallas, to expand its intellectual property and corporate legal expertise. David's practice focuses on patents, trademarks, and trade secrets.
