Director of Employer Relations and Engagement

Baylor Law is seeking a new Director of Employer Relations and Engagement as Daniel Hare is leaving his position in the fall to launch his own business. The Director will work with Asst. Dean Angela Cruseturner and the Career Development team and will be responsible for cultivating relationships with legal employers for the benefit of our students and alumni in achieving their career objectives.

There are several qualification factors. The Director must possess strong relational skills and be a self-motivated, results-driven thinker. The position blends interpersonal skills, relationships, and friendships with creativity, versatility, and results. A Baylor Lawyer who is already knowledgeable with the program, culture, and mission of Baylor Law is preferred.

The Director works with lawyers throughout the state and beyond, with a primary focus on the largest Texas cities. Meaningful day travel and some occasional overnight travel is required.

Baylor Law Mourns the Passing of Legal Aid Legend Bill Kimble

William "Bill" Kimble, JD '69, of Waco, Texas, passed away on June 14th, 2019. He was born on September 14th, 1945, in Uvalde, Texas, to Gussie and Paul Kimble. He graduated from Baylor University with his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1967 and his Juris Doctor in 1969 and worked for more than 25 years at Lone Star Legal Aid, where he dedicated his life to providing legal representation, education, and advocacy to underserved communities in Texas. . .
