Dr. Rick Richardson, JD '81

Dr. Rick Richardson was named chief financial officer for Tarleton State University and senior vice president for the Division of Finance and Administration. Richardson joined Tarleton State University in 2009 as vice president of institutional advancement and has been instrumental in helping develop Tarleton's new planned campus in Fort Worth, scheduled to open in fall 2019.




John Gillespie, JD '99

John Gillespie won the primary election for District Attorney in Wichita County. He will run unopposed in November.




Rebecca King, JD '00

Rebecca King was named a partner of Tracey & Fox.




Hon. Gilland Chenault, JD '04

Hon. Gilland Chenault was appointed as an Associate Municipal Judge for the City of Roanoke, Texas. He currently serves as an Associate Municipal Judge in several cities in Denton County. He is the founder of the Chenault Law Firm, a firm focusing on estate, trust, and fiduciary litigation.




Dominic Braus, JD '09

Dominic Braus of the The Carlson Law Firm in Waco, TX, was named the 2018 Outstanding Young Lawyer of McLennan County by the McLennan County Young Lawyers Association.




Ben Howell, JD '09

Ben Howell joined Sklar Kirsh in Los Angeles. Howell is an associate in the firm's corporate practice. He focuses on complex corporate transactions representing technology and media companies, private equity sponsors, and sports franchises.




Terah Moxley, JD '10

Terah Moxley with the Dallas litigation boutique Estes Thorne & Carr, was recognized as a 2018 Texas Rising Star for her employment litigation defense work. She is board certified in Labor and Employment Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.




Mark "T.J." Jones, JD '15

Mark "T.J." Jones joined Crawford Wishnew & Lang PLLC in Dallas as an associate.
