Drew York, partner at Gray Reed & McGraw's Dallas office, was named a Rising Star for 2017 by Texas Super Lawyers.




Brad Robinson, JD '06

Brad Robinson, of Hartline Dacus Barger Dreyer LLP in Dallas, was admitted to the Bar of the Supreme Court of the United States at an admissions ceremony at the Court on March 1.




David Lovell, JD '08

David Lovell was named a shareholder of the Dallas office of Winstead. David is a member of Winstead's intellectual property practice group.



Katie Filmore, JD '09

Katie Filmore, of Butler Snow LLP in Austin, was admitted to the Bar of the Supreme Court of the United States at an admissions ceremony at the Court on March 1.




Parrish Whitaker, JD '10

Parrish Whitaker was named president of the board for the Oklahoma Foundation for the Disabled (OKFD). OKFD provides high-quality day care for developmentally disabled adults in Central Oklahoma.




Stephen Rispoli, JD '12

Stephen Rispoli, assistant dean of student affairs and pro bono programs was named 2017 Outstanding Young Lawyer of McLennan County. Rispoli proposed and developed the annual McLennan County Young Lawyer Association Pro Bono Challenge which led to the resurgence in pro bono activity among the McLennan County Bar. He serves on national and state pro bono committees and serves on the Waco Zoning Board of Adjustment. Full Story




Shelby White, JD '12

Shelby White, of Harris, Finley & Bogle, P.C. in Fort Worth, was awarded a 2017 National Collegiate Equestrian Association Distinguished Alumni Award. White, daughter of Baylor Equestrian head coach Ellen White and Baylor Law School legal writing lecturer Greg White, is a former Baylor Equestrian hunt seat rider.




Marcy Wilkins, JD '14

Marcy Wilkins was named a 2016 Outstanding Pro Bono Advocate Award winner by the Waco-McLennan County Young Lawyers Association. Wilkins was recognized for outstanding service to the community and for volunteering more than one hundred hours. Full Story
