Baylor Law Launches the Ultimate Writer Competition
Baylor Law launched the Ultimate Writer Competition under the direction of Professors Matt Cordon and Scott Fraley. A special debt of gratitude goes to Charlie, JD '86, and Lisa Frazier who graciously underwrote the competition, and Kirk Pittard, JD '99, and the appellate law firm of Kelly, Durham, and Pittard, LLP, in Dallas, Texas which sponsored the competition. Baylor Law Gives Back to Waco Community
Each Christmas season, the Baylor Law family gives back to the Waco community in a myriad of ways. Baylor Law's Waco ISD Adopt-A-School, Bell's Hill Elementary, is an inner-city school where almost 100% of the children qualify for free or reduced lunch. For the fifth consecutive year, the Student Bar Association (SBA) has raised money and solicited donations to purchase a new Christmas gift for all 900 children. . . Full Story
