How Your Alumni Association Serves the Baylor Law Community
The Baylor Law Alumni Association is a dues-paying organization. The dues revenue pays for the Baylor Law alumni events and programs. Membership dues are invaluable for the continued success of the Baylor Law alumni events and programs. As a reminder, the alumni dues year now runs January to December.Alumni Events

State Bar Annual Meeting
Each year, the Baylor Law Alumni Association hosts an alumni reception in conjunction with the State Bar Annual Meeting. At the reception, our Baylor Law Alumni Association Executive Committee as well as provides the annual update of the Baylor Law Alumni Association.Baylor Law Alumni Weekend
Each year, the Baylor Law Alumni Association hosts the Baylor Law Alumni Weekend. Join us in Waco for a weekend filled with fun events and fellowship with fellow Baylor Lawyers, faculty and staff.Baylor Lawyer of the Year
The Baylor Lawyer of the Year Award is given annually to an outstanding alumnus/a who has brought honor and distinction to the Law School and to the legal profession. Recipients are selected based upon the following criteria: the nominee's legal ability and achievements as a lawyer; the nominee's contributions to the legal profession; the nominee's standing in the profession; the nominee's Christian character; the nominee's civic, religious and other attainments; and the nominee's active interest in Baylor Law.
Baylor Young Lawyer of the Year
The Baylor Young Lawyer of the Year is an alumnus/a selected on the same basis as the Baylor Lawyer of the Year, except the recipient must not reach the age 45 before January 1 of the award year.
Homecoming Parade and Breakfast
A long-standing tradition of the Baylor Law Alumni Association is to host a Homecoming Reception at the old law school building, Morrison Constitution Hall. Baylor Lawyers and friends are invited to gather on the lawn of Morrison Constitution Hall and enjoyed watching the Homecoming Parade pass down Fifth Street.Alumni Association Luncheons at Orientation
For several years, the Alumni Association Executive Committee has hosted a luncheon at each of the new student orientations. Members of the Executive Committee travel to Waco to welcome the entering classes to the legal profession and to our Law School.Alumni Association Scholarship

Baylor Law publishes two alumni publications: The Docket Call, a quarterly alumni magazine, and The Rocket Docket, a monthly alumni e-newsletter.
