Requirements & Qualifications
The Leon Jaworski Scholarship for Outstanding Undergraduate Advocates is awarded exclusively to incoming law students who have outstanding records in advocacy programs such as debate or mock trial.
To be considered for a Jaworski Scholarship, incoming Baylor Law students must fill out a Jaworski Scholarship application and submit the following materials:
- At least one, and no more than three, letters of recommendation from your undergraduate advocacy coaches
- An essay of 250 words or less describing why you feel qualified to receive the Jaworski Scholarship
- A video of one of your advocacy presentations. If you do not have a recording from a competition, you are welcome to submit a 'staged' recording as well
- A resumé of your advocacy experience
