Baylor Law Crowns Champions of the 2024 The Ultimate Writer Legal Writing Competition

Baylor Law’s legal writing team has announced the winners of the 2024 Ultimate Writer Legal Writing Competition. Stephen Hirschbuehler clinched the top spot and a prize of $8,000. Following closely, Tiffani Skroch claimed second place, earning a $1,500 award, and Brendan Fowler secured third place with a $500 prize.

Baylor Law Honors Students at the 2024 John William & Florence Dean Minton Student Awards Ceremony

On Wednesday, March 27, 2024, Baylor Law presented awards and honors to over 100   law students at the annual John Williams and Florence Dean Minton Student Awards Ceremony and Lecture Series. The event, held for the first time at the Mark & Paula Hurd Welcome Center, recognizes future Baylor Lawyers’ remarkable achievements across academics, advocacy, service, and leadership.

Baylor to Test Outdoor Tornado Sirens at 10 a.m. Friday, April 5, 2024

Baylor University will join City of Waco and McLennan County partners – in cooperation with the Waco/McLennan County Office of Emergency Management – to conduct a regular test of its Outdoor Warning System (tornado sirens) at 10 a.m. Friday, April 5. The University’s testing period will be from 10 to 11 a.m.
