Ticket prices set

for NCAA soccer tournament game

Student tickets for the women's soccer NCAA tournament game Nov. 15 will cost $5 and will go on sale at 12:30 p.m. the day of the game at the Baylor Soccer Complex. General admission seats cost only $7, the minimum price allowed by the NCAA. The game begins at 2 p.m. Parking will be in the Ferrell Center lot.

Baylor, with a record of 15-4-1 and ranked No. 17 in the nation, will face the winner of Wednesday's first-round matchup between Northwestern University and Evansville University.

This will be the first-ever NCAA tournament appearance in the three-year history of the program.

Lady Bears sign Houston prospect

The women's basketball team signed 5-foot-11-inch forward Stasha Richards to a national letter of intent Wednesday as the official high school signing period began. Richards, a senior at Houston's North Shore High School, averaged 13.2 points, six rebounds and five assists last season, earning All-District 22-5A honors.

After being recruited by Old Dominion, Florida, and Iowa, Richards will instead join former North Shore forward Danielle Crockrom at Baylor.
