French Foreign film presented Friday

The Baylor Foreign Film Series will present 'Purple Noon' at 7 p.m. Friday Nov. 21 in the Castellaw Communications Center, room 101. The 1960 movie, is in French with English subtitles and the plot follows two Americans visiting Italy. For more information call 710-4284.

December graduation information

December graduates need to notify the Office of the Registrar no later then Dec. 5 if they do not intend to participate in the ceremony on Dec. 20. Students unsure of whether or not they meet all graduation requirements should consult their academic dean as soon as possible. All graduates planning to participate need to report to the LaSalle entrance of the Ferrell Special Events Center at 9 a.m. Dec. 20. Caps, gowns, hoods and invitations are available at the Baylor Bookstore. Any potential graduate not receiving a copy of the Commencement Guide may obtain one in their academic dean's office.

Miss Black and Gold pageant on Saturday

The Tau Alpha chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha national fraternity will host the fifth annual Miss Black and Gold pageant at 7 p.m. Saturday in the Barfield Drawing Room of the Bill Daniel Student Center. Advance tickets may be purchased in the Student Center ticket office or at the door for $5.

Lecture on Ghana presented today

Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, assistant professor of economics, will present a lecture titled 'The Economy and Political Change in Ghana' at 4 p.m. today in 201 Poage Legislative Library Center. The lecture is part of the Council for International Education's Series, 'All the News That's Fit to Discuss!' and is free and open to the public.
