Hospital to offer free headache seminar

Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center will offer a seminar on headaches at 6:30 p.m. Thursday in the auditorium on the fifth floor of the hospital's Julian H. Pace building.

Dr. Mark Schwartz will be giving the presentation about headaches and migraines. Treatments and risk factors will also be discussed.

There is no charge for the program, however, reservations are necessary because of limited class size.

Account executive to offer credit card seminar

The Baylor University Alumni Association and the Student Alumni Alliance is sponsoring a credit card use seminar today from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Barfield Drawing Room in the Bill Daniel Student Center.

Rebecca Moore, University account executive for MBNA, is the head speaker of the seminar. The seminar will be a question and answer session.

'I will be talking about the do's and don'ts of credit cards, how to properly manage credit, and how to maintain a good credit history,' Moore said.

Information will also be passed out regarding who may also be contacted when students find themselves in jeopardy with their credit cards, Moore said.

All students, faculty, staff or children of faculty and staff are invited to attend the seminar. Free refreshments will be served.

Law students advance in trial competition

The University's law students will advance to national finals for the American Trial Lawyers Association Mock Trial Competition in Denver Thursday through Sunday.

The students are undefeated after winning against 12 teams from law schools across Texas. This is the second consecutive year Baylor's team has won the regional competition.
