Baylor University Interim Vice President for Information Technology and Deputy CIO Becky King has announced that Brent Harris will be joining ITS as Assistant Vice President for Client Services. Brent has been serving as Vice President for Information Technology at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor for seven years. Prior to that, he was Director of Technology Services for the Belton ISD, as well as spending earlier years in various roles in K-12 and higher education. King remarks, “We believe Brent will be an excellent leader for our talented Client Services department and a terrific addition for ITS and Baylor.”
Brent expressed a passion for providing service to help individuals effectively use technology to accomplish work and build skills. “I’m sure he will play an important leadership role as ITS supports Baylor’s ambitious new strategic plan,” said King.
Brent, who is a Baylor graduate, began his duties on May 29.
