Adobe Work-at-Home Option for Baylor Faculty/Staff

October 26, 2012
As a result of the recent educational agreement between Baylor and Adobe, the Adobe Creative Web Premium suite of products is now available for use on personally-owned home computers for all faculty and staff. This offer is not available for students. The suite of products includes the following software: Photoshop Extended CS6, Illustrator CS6, InDesign CS6, Acrobat X Pro, Flash Professional CS6, Dreamweaver CS6, Fireworks CS6, Bridge CS6, and Media Encoder CS6.

The software downloads are available from the Adobe website. A license key is required, which can be purchased for a nominal fee of $5 at the Baylor Bookstore. The license key is good until August 31, 2013. A signed agreement, similar to the one required for the Microsoft products, will be required. It states that the software will only be installed and used on personally-owned faculty or staff computers. An instruction sheet that outlines the steps needed to perform the download from the Adobe website will also be provided when you purchase the key. A short video for this procedure is also available on the ITS website under the Help menu, by selecting "Training" then click on "Video Clips."
