Telephone Functions
Call Transfer
Manually redirects certain calls to other extensions.
500 set:
-
First press the switch hook on your phone.

Dial the campus extension to which you wish to transfer.

Hang up the receiver. The call will be transferred.
All Other Models:
-
First press the TRANSFER button on your key pad.
-
Dial the campus extension to which you wish to transfer.
-
Press the TRANSFER button, which completes the call transfer.
Call Forwarding
Redirects all of your calls to another extension.
500 set:
-
Lift the receiver and press the # key, followed by
1.

Enter the desired extension and hang up the receiver. The phone should be
forwarded.

To deactivate, lift the receiver and press the # key
followed by 1.
All Other Models:
-
Press the FORWARD button on your phone and enter the
desired extension.

Press the FORWARD button once more. The phone should be
forwarded.

To deactivate the Call Forward function, simply press the FORWARD
button.
Conference Calls
Connects up to 6 callers on one call.
500 set:
-
Dial the first party. When this person answers, press the switch hook.

Dial the second party. When this person answers, press the switch hook
again. You should now have both parties on the line.

Continue the process until all parties have joined the call.
All Other Models:
-
Dial the first party. When this person answers, press the
CONFERENCE button. If you do not have a conference button,
contact the Help Desk at 710-4357.

Dial the second party. When this person answers, press the
CONFERENCE button again. You should now have both parties on the
line.

Continue the process until all parties have joined the call.
Note: If you need a conference call setup, contact the
Baylor Operator on-campus by dialing 0 or from off-campus dial 710-1011.
