Graduate Academic Resource Specialists

The Impact LLC employs current Baylor graduate students to serve as Graduate Academic Resource Specialists. To promote academic success, these individuals assist our residents in their educational journeys by focusing on specific course concepts and general study skills. Although we encourage you to consult our Graduate Academic Resource Specialists for any questions related to your academics, our 2020-2021 team has primary concentrations related to math and writing.

Sign up is easy! Impact residents can request either a virtual (Zoom) or face-to-face appointment using the green buttons below. All in-person appointments will take place in the basement of South Russell at the Graduate Academic Resource Specialist desk along the back wall of the study area. Masks are required at face-to-face meetings.

Boluwaji "Bolu" Oyewumi [Math Concentration]

Bolu is completing his Masters in Information Systems at the Hankamer School of Business here at Baylor In his free time, he mentors local youth in his home community. He is also an avid soccer fan. Bolu is able to assist with a broad array of math-related issues. Whether you are stuck on a specific problem or want to speak with someone about preparing for your next exam, Bolu is here to help you succeed. 


Jeff Strietzel [Writing Concentration]

Jeff Strietzel is completing a PhD in Higher Education and Leadership from the School of Education here at Baylor. When he’s not working or writing he stays active with his wife and children around the yard, Baylor’s campus, and Waco. Regardless of where you are in the writing process, Jeff is available to help. Bring your ideas and writing projects (e.g. class essays, research papers, resumé and cover letters, future best-selling work of fiction, etc.) and Jeff would be happy to assist.
