Program Fee & Room Costs

IMPACT & LEAD has a program fee of $100 per semester. This program fee allows access to all spaces in the hall, as well as unlimited opportunities to participate in the many events and activities that IMPACT & LEAD hosts each week!

IMPACT & LEAD, within Allen and Dawson Residence Halls, has primarily Double Rooms in suite-style (two Double Rooms connected by a Bathroom shared by four residents).

Program Requirements

All first-year IMPACT & LEAD students will engage in a shared academic endeavor together through an Introduction to Leadership (LDS 1301) course. Students will be preregistered for this course upon acceptance to the community. Students have consistently voiced the value of this introductory course, as it sets a theoretical and practical foundation for students to build lasting leadership abilities, knowledge, and skills. 

Students are also expected to meet with their assigned Mentor Group. These groups help first-year students transition to campus well, and then succeed when they get here. Students are provided guidance, resources, and support from an upper-division LLC student mentor. 

Because we are a community built around service, leadership, and education, all residents are asked to complete at least 10 hours of community service or volunteer work each semester. There are numerous opportunities to fulfill this criteria. In addition to service events, we hope all students engage with the LLC by participating in our multiple faith development, social involvement, and academic success programs held in the halls throughout the year.
