Goodbye to Ignite Headquarters
When Project Ignite moved into our headquarters in Moody Memorial Library in June of 2019, we expected to anxiously babysit the Ignite Go-Live a year later from that space. As it turns out, COVID-19 had other plans for the last weeks before Go-Live. However, the great collaborative space in Moody certainly contributed to the success of the project by hosting meetings, testing sessions, training classes, ad hoc discussions, and coffee conversations for the Baylor and Huron Ignite teams. Oh, and don’t forget the beach balls and twinkle lights!
As we officially leave Moody the first week of July, the Ignite team is very appreciative of the opportunity to “live” there over the last year of the project. We are thankful to the Library leadership, staff, and faculty for being great hosts and neighbors. And, as we turn our beloved headquarters back over to its rightful owner, we are also glad that it will be once again be used to support Baylor’s academic mission, potentially in the near term, as classroom space providing social distancing.
