Ignite Training Lab

Open Tuesdays & Thursdays; 1:30pm-4:30pm

The Ignite Training Lab offers a variety of courses, workshops and personal support to meet the needs of all Ignite users; from novice to expert, the Ignite Training Lab has something for you.

June & July Schedule Changes:

Open Lab appointments will be conducted through Teams, or in-person but must be scheduled in advance by emailing Bobbie_Doyle@baylor.edu.
Mini-sessions will be held once a week, in most cases. See schedule below.
Targeted Trainings will resume in August.
The lab will be closed the first week in June and July.

Open Lab: Provides an opportunity for one-on-one support. Whether you are a new employee learning the various Ignite modules, or perhaps just taking on a new task and need additional support, the Open Lab hours are available to you. Reservations are encouraged, contact Bobbie Doyle to schedule an appointment. Open Lab hours are between 1:30-2:15 & 4:00-4:30 on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons.

On-line Mini-Sessions: It is not always possible to get to the lab for training, so our Mini-Sessions offer short 30-minute trainings via Microsoft Teams. These trainings are recorded and posted to the Learning Module for greater visibility and to ensure everyone has access to course content. Mini-Sessions are scheduled each Tuesday and Thursday from 2:30-3:00. See the below for upcoming Mini-Sessions.

Targeted Trainings: These in-person workshops are designed to strengthen your Ignite knowledge and hone your skills. They often involve group work, and learning from the examples of others. You can bring your own laptop, or use one of the computers in the lab. Targeted Trainings are scheduled on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:00-4:00 in the lab. We need a minimum of 4 people in each training, the maximum capacity for the room is 24 people. See the below for upcoming Targeted Trainings.

Please note if you are interested in attending a Mini-Session and Targeted Training on the same day, you can come to the Training Lab early and participate in the Mini-Session from the lab.
