Welcome to the first monthly Ignite Newsletter! Ignite is a major initiative for the university that will transform the way faculty and staff perform Baylor’s Finance, Human Resources, Procure-to-Pay, and Grants Financial Management operations. All Baylor faculty and staff will use Ignite. As we are fewer than seven months from releasing Ignite (June 2020 is coming fast!), the project team wants to begin sharing information more broadly with the campus community.
We are excited to start sending monthly email updates and can't wait to share more with you in the coming months! We encourage you to watch the video below about how Ignite is transforming the way Baylor works.

How Ignite Benefits You: December Premium Holiday
Each month we will highlight a benefit that Baylor employees will appreciate. The first one we want to highlight is putting money right back into your pocket! As a result of changing how we deduct premiums from paychecks, all benefits-eligible employees currently enrolled will enjoy a premium holiday in December. For one time only, no insurance premiums from designated categories will be deducted from paychecks. Click here to read more.
Fall Information Session Recap
We hope that you were able to join us for the Ignite Fall Information Session yesterday. There has been a lot of exciting work happening to configure Ignite for Baylor’s future and the project team is glad to be able to begin sharing more of that with the broader campus.
