“My time at IFL has been one of the great joys and blessings of my life,” said Whitt. “I am proud of the work that we do, and it has been a great privilege to be a part of it. I am deeply grateful to Darin Davis for the opportunity he gave me to share in this effort for the past nine years. I am convinced now, more than ever, of the importance of IFL’s work at Baylor and in the larger world of Christian higher education as we seek to imagine how our shared Christian faith animates all that we do. I look forward to continuing to support Darin and his outstanding staff in these efforts.”
“One cannot do good work without the help of good people, and Jason Whitt is one of the best people I have ever known,” said Darin Davis, vice president for university mission at Baylor and IFL director. “Even as his colleagues and I will miss working daily alongside Jason in IFL, we could not be happier for the unique opportunity he now will have as a faculty member in the Honors Program. Baylor students will be blessed to know and learn from Jason Whitt for years to come.”
Whitt will begin his appointment with the Honors Program in the Fall 2018 semester.
Please join us in thanking Dr. Whitt for his many years of faithful service as part of Baylor's Institute for Faith and Learning.
