SACSCOC Reaffirmation

Baylor University has been accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools since 1914. Every ten years, we submit evidence that Baylor is in compliance with the Principles of Accreditation. Last affirmed in 2007, Baylor submitted the Compliance Certification in September of 2016. An Off-site Review Committee provided feedback on the report in November of 2016, and we are now preparing a Focused Report to address some specific questions raised by the committee. Alongside this regular decennial process, we are working to address the sanction issued by the SACSCOC Board of Trustees at its December 2016 meeting related to three principles for which we must provide evidence of Baylor's compliance. (See FAQs regarding SACSCOC Accreditation for details.)

As part of the Compliance Certification, Baylor also submits a Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP), a plan for a major project designed to enhance student learning.
