Records Retention and Archival Section

Baylor’s Board of Regents has approved a Records Retention and Archival Policy (BU-PP 038).  The purpose of the policy is to identify, preserve, and collect records required by federal and state laws and regulations, and outside organizations such as the Southern Association of Colleges & Universities and the National Collegiate Athletic Association. 

Your office will soon receive a self-assessment tool kit to provide guidance for implementation so read the policy and begin discussing policy implementation in your area. In addition, training classes will scheduled in February 2013 to assist you with this effort.  If you have any questions or require assistance, please call Internal Audit at extension 3867.
