Daniel Millimet is a Professor of Economics at Southern Methodist University and a Research Fellow at IZA. He received his Ph.D. in Economics from Brown University in 1999 and his B.A. in Economics from the University of Michigan in 1994. His research centers on policy relevant topics and microeconometric methods, covering topics such as the effects of the School Breakfast Program and National School Lunch Program and determinants of food insecurity. His work has been published in journals such as Journal of Econometrics, Journal of Applied Econometrics, Journal of Business & Economic Statistics, Review of Economics & Statistics, Economic Journal, Journal of Human Resources, and International Economic Review. He currently serves on the editorial boards for Journal of the Association of Environmental and Resource Economists and Empirical Economics. He is also a senior co-editor of Advances in Econometrics.
