New Name. Expanded Vision.

Baylor Collaborative on Hunger and Poverty

THI has grown and expanded capacity to support and conduct interdisciplinary hunger and poverty research and innovation with local, state, and national relevance. For that reason, Baylor University in partnership with the THI team have launched the Baylor Collaborative on Hunger and Poverty, which will integrate research and practice through projects such as Texas Hunger Initiative, Research Fellows, Global Hunger and Migration Project, and the Nonprofit Excellence Project.

We’re a collaborative at the forefront of poverty research. Where social science meets social responsibility. Where learning is magnified by doing. Where fact is energized by faith. And where the words “love thy neighbor,” are not just words.

Our Locations

We have offices across the state, so you can make an impact in your community.

The Baylor Collaborative on Hunger and Poverty provides the expertise and support to foster collaboration. We convene, train, inform and support communities to assess local hunger, and evaluate barriers to food security, in order to become a Hunger Free Community.
