The Mary Gibbs Jones Human Sciences and Design building, built in 1976, is the main home to the Department of Human Sciences and Design. Originally it was built to serve over 100 students. Today, more than 500 students are enrolled in the six programs located within the department.
The first floor of the building houses offices, classrooms, food science labs, and nutrition labs. The second floor houses offices, classrooms, fabric lab, and the apparel production labs.
