Healthcare Administration is a field for students who wish to become part of the management team that oversees hospitals, nursing homes, hospice facilities, insurance companies, provider networks, and government policy organizations. Healthcare administration professionals are expected to examine and solve business problems from multiple perspectives while drawing upon expertise from an interdisciplinary perspective.
Students who wish to pursue a profession within healthcare administration choose a variety of different undergraduate degrees. Healthcare administration is not an undergraduate program, but, once students have completed an undergraduate degree, they can apply to Baylor's Robbins MBA Healthcare Program, which is administered through the Hankamer School of Business.
