What's your favorite part about serving in the HRC?

I love seeing students grow throughout their years in the HRC.

Tell us about your life beyond the HRC.

I am an English graduate student studying 19th-century medievalism. When I'm not working on school-related stuff, my husband, Alex, and I love trying to cook new foods and playing board games. We have an elderly cat who alternates between being cuddly and cranky.

Which works or authors have influenced your thinking on calling & community?

My thoughts on calling and community have been more influenced by my experiences in undergrad than any specific text I've read. Several of my professors created intentional communities of faith-focused learning within the classroom through brief devotions at the beginning of class often connected to the class discussion topics. I remember discussing community in most of my classes.
