The HRC has nine community leaders (CLs) chosen by Campus Living & Learning and HRC Staff. CLs live on each floor of the HRC and are responsible for mentoring students, connecting them to the cultures of the HRC and campus communities, fostering relationships with and among peers, providing customer service, and upholding Baylor's values and standards in the HRC.
Additionally, CLs strive to develop community by exploring the topics of faith development, cultural humility, self-advocacy, intellectual development, and living life together. CLs will often host events, coordinate hall dinners, or invite residents to one-on-one conversations over coffee or tea. CLs go through the standard Campus Living & Learning application process, which begins each year in November.
