United Way Worldwide has been named, by Forbes Magazine, as the number one charity in the nation!
With the participation of every faculty and staff member, Baylor University will continue to maintain its role in the support of our community. Our goal this year is for 200 employees to give $42/month or at least $500 to the General Impact Fund. You will have the opportunity to do so during our United Way Workplace Campaign from October 1 – November 20. If you can't give $500, any amount you give helps. Sacrificing any amount, can help provide families with breakfast for a week, a stay for a Wacoan family escaping abuse, students with afterschool programming, and prenatal follow-up visits for low-income pregnant women.
If you are financially able to consider making a donation to the United Way beginning in January 2021, please do so and choose from one of the various options noted below:
Each of these options allows you to choose your method of contribution:
By giving at either 1% of your salary per month for 12 months or 1 hour of pay per month for 12 months, you will receive special recognition by Dr. Livingstone at the end of the campaign. Additionally, your name will be entered for a drawing of special parking perks on campus or at the Robinson Tower. You will have the opportunity to park in one reserved spot in the parking garage at Clifton Robinson Tower or the opportunity to have an All Access Pass to Visitor Parking. Special thanks to Dr. Linda Livingstone and Matt Penney, Baylor Parking Services, for their kind recognition and donation.
The Waco McLennan County United Way allocates voluntary contributions to local member agencies that provide health and human services. By making a donation, you are ensuring agencies and programs receive funding throughout the year.
You can also choose to continue to build the Baylor Family Compassion Fund which will help those in need right here at Baylor. You can do so by checking the heart-shaped box on your pledge form.
