Sally’s efforts in Academic Support Programs are far reaching. For many years, Sally has taught students study habits and advised students regarding issues in their lives that are a hindrance to their academic pursuits. She has made her mission at Baylor to support these students to they can be the best they can be, to graduate, and living thriving, successful lives. She is often known as one of the more fun personalities on campus, and her positive attitude has touched thousands of hearts of Baylor students, parents, and employees. Sally has a commitment to improving services offered from Academic Support Programs as well has improving how these services are delivered to students.

One colleague said in their nomination, “Sally is the heartbeat of not only Academic Support Programs, but to the students on campus and Baylor. She is a legend.”
