Black Faculty & Staff Association (BFSA)

Welcome

Thank you for visiting our webpage!

My name is Tonya B. Hudson, and I serve as President of the Black Faculty and Staff Association (BFSA) at Baylor University. Founded in January 2018, the BFSA is a new University-recognized Employee Resource Group dedicated to the advancement of Black faculty and staff on Baylor campuses.

description

The work of the Association is—in my opinion—vital as we provide professional and personal enrichment programs and support to Black faculty and staff. BFSA has accomplished a great deal over the past two years—a week of Black History Month activities, two professional development series, Board of Regents presentation—and we are poised to do even more in the upcoming years.

We endeavor to make a positive and lasting impact on Baylor's Black faculty, staff, and student population through engaging BFSA-sponsored events designed for academic, professional, and self-improvement. The Black professionals on our campus are strong, proud, and visionary.

BFSA membership is open to all faculty, staff, graduate students, and post-doctoral students at Baylor University. We are committed to working with all people to achieve our goals and objectives. Join us as we progress forward together!

Email BFSA@baylor.edu for more information about the association and/or to join our listserv.

If you are currently a BFSA member and need to pay dues, please do so using this ONLINE FORM; you will need to log in with your BearID and Password to access the form or you may use the "Pay Membership Dues" button below.
