How to maintain good standing in the program
After you’ve completed your fourth semester in the Honors Program, we’ll check your GPA, typically after spring semester of sophomore year. Maintaining a 3.5 cumulative GPA is essential in order to stay in the program.
Advising comes before registration
All students in the Honors Program must be advised before they can register for spring classes. Please check your Baylor email account for more information and a link to schedule your advising appointment. Early registration is a privilege available only to those students who are in good standing in the Honors Program and who fulfill all their advising requirements on time.
If you're considering withdrawing
The Honors Program is academically rigorous. However, your personal growth and well-being are of the utmost importance to us. If you are struggling to complete the Honors Program, you may choose to withdraw. However, we strongly encourage you to meet with an advisor before doing so.
