The following video offers general guidance on how to adjust line spacing in a Word document. Note that the Honors thesis should generally be double spaced aside from the abstract.


Setting your margins in Word

This video shows how to adjust your margins. Tip: It's easiest to always set your margins to 1" for the top, bottom, and right side of the document, and 1.5" for the left side. To begin the first line of a new chapter 1.5" from the top of the page, simply use the enter key to add some line spaces above the chapter heading.
