All students, including paper and website entries, MUST check in either on Thursday, February 13, 2020 from 3:00-6:00 pm or on Friday, February 15, 2020 from 7:15-9:45 am to be eligible for any award.
Early Submission for Documentary, Paper, and Website Entries
Documentaries, along with accompanying process papers and annotated bibliographies, must be uploaded via the HOTRHF website byJanuary 22, 2020 at 11:59 pm. To upload, click here. Documentary entries must be viewable in VLC media player for Windows. Additionally, students must bring their documentary in a USB Flash Drive along with hard copies of their process papers and annotated bibliographies. The HOTRHF will provide the necessary equipment for viewing documentaries.
Paper must be submitted in PDF format via the online registration system by January 22, 2020 at 11:59 pm.
Due to this technical difficulty, the website deadline has been extended to January 23, 2020 at 11:59pm. If your students are still having issues logging into their websites, please be sure they are entering their password correctly. If the issue persists, please contact me. Additionally, ensure that your website NHD WebCentral Site Key is correctly entered into the registration system. Registration ends on January 22nd and changes cannot be made after.
Please note this applies only to website entries. Paper and documentaries submissions are still due by January 22, 2020. Thank you for your understanding.
Websites must be completed in NHD WebCentral by January 23, 2020 at 11:59 pm. Students will lose access after this date. Each student must create an account, even in group websites. The 8-digit ID from your website URL is required and should be placed in the NHD WebCentral Site Key field when prompted during online registration. For example, http://site.nhd.org/12345678, 12345678 would be the NHD WebCentral Site Key. Putting this number in during the registration process will not affect your ability to access your website. Students may set up exhibits on Thursday evening, however, the HOTRHF does not assume liability for any items left overnight in the exhibit area.
All students are required to be present during their scheduled morning judging time. No students may be present during the Junior Individual and Group Exhibit final judging in the afternoon.
All exhibits must be removed by 3:45 pm on Friday, February 14, 2020. Any exhibits remaining will be discarded.
A Ready Room will be available on Friday, February 14, 2020 for performance entries to leave props, equipment, etc. The HOTRHF does not assume liability for any items left in the Ready Room. As a reminder, tampering with another entry will result in disqualification. Any props, equipment, etc. remaining will be discarded. Overnight storage is prohibited.
