Baylor University
Waco, TX
October 20-21, 2021 Postponed to Spring 2022 (New Dates TBA Soon)

The Biennial Meeting of the Conference on Faith and History Undergraduate Student Conference will take place at Baylor University, immediately before the regular CFH professional meeting. Undergraduate students are encouraged to stay for the entire event.

Call for Papers

Student papers on any subject are encouraged. We understand that students will be submitting proposals from the papers they have written for classes in the last year, spanning a wide range of topics. The theme of the meeting (Protest, Resistance, and Transformation: Agents of Change Past and Present) focuses particularly on activism seeking to improve communities. It will emphasize the histories of those who have worked to expand the boundaries of justice and freedom, as well as how historians can love our neighbors. Please submit a proposal that includes your name and home institution, paper title, a 250-word overview of the paper and, if possible, contact information for the faculty member who guided your research.

Individual paper and/or complete session proposals (3-4 papers on a related topic) should be emailed to the undergraduate conference organizers: Dr. Brian Franklin (brfranklin@smu.edu) and Dr. Andrea Turpin (andrea_turpin@baylor.edu). The deadline for paper and session proposals has been extended to July 23, 2021.
