Printers (Eight-Year Replacement Cycle)
Replace all printers with an IT ID support tag starting with "14" or lower.
Please note: All HP 4700 or older color printers and all HP 4250 or older black and white printers have to be removed from the network due to security vulnerabilities.

Tablet Replacement Cycle
Replacement is recommended when the unit no longer supports the current iOS. The Ivanti reports reflect the support status. Any units with NS will be considered non-supported. Please note: Windows-based tablets are considered notebook computers.

Hardware Services Guidelines
All Baylor standards that are recommended by ITS will be provided full support from ITS repair shop. Spare parts and employee certifications for these products are maintained by ITS. The list of standard equipment is reviewed and updated as needed throughout the fiscal year. If your department is approved for a non-standard purchase, a warranty will be required if the equipment purchased cannot be serviced by the ITS certified staff. In these situations, the department will be required to contact the vendor directly to schedule any maintenance or repair services.
