MATLAB by MathWorks is a programming and numeric computing platform for Windows and MacOS that is used to analyze data, develop algorithms, and create models. MATLAB combines a desktop environment tuned for iterative analysis and design processes and has an interactive environment that enables you to see how different algorithms work with your data. 


MATLAB is available for Baylor faculty, staff, and students. Faculty and Staff can install by following these instructions, and Students can install MATLAB by following these instructions. MATLAB is also available on Baylor public computers across campus and in departmental labs. When MATLAB is used off-campus, a Baylor VPN connection is required.
