    Why Baylor?

    • I decided to attend Army-Baylor University because I wanted to advance in my career within the Veterans Affairs. I could have pursued a degree from any institution, but Army-Baylor is one of the top schools in the nation. In addition, the MBA coursework is specific to working within a healthcare setting, which will help more than a generic MBA from another institution. Another benefit of attending Army-Baylor is the network created with my classmates who come from all types of backgrounds (physicians, pharmacists, hospital administration, patient advocacy, helicopter pilots, dietitians, physical therapists, etc.).

    Outside Interests

    • I enjoy competing in triathlons, mostly the running and biking parts. I swim just because it is required as part of the sport.

    Why Baylor?

    • As a military healthcare leader, I have heard time and time again of the incredible opportunities that this program offers. You enter the program into a cohort of administrative professionals, providers, and medical specialists across all branches of service. The program is a melting pot of seasoned leaders with years of personal experience and expertise. I was on the fence between Baylor and School of Choice for my graduate program, but between the national case study competitions, class comradery, and professional affiliations, I know I chose right and would do so again.

    Outside Interests

    • I am a fine arts major (for undergrad) and enjoy graphic design and traditional drawing. I enjoy outside activities, working the farmers market with my family, and traveling with the military. I love to learn, build excel models, and read!

    Why Baylor?

    • From the moment that I learned this opportunity was open to the civilian corps, I was sold. Some of the most influential leaders I have ever worked with were students in this program. I saw the impact that the education had on organizations and I knew that Army-Baylor program was the program that an aspiring healthcare administrator should attend. Baylor offers an amazing educational opportunity and the chance to complete a dual degree. And most of all, it is a joint program and not service specific. The collaboration between different services and civilians with different back grounds, some clinical and some administrative, is priceless. This challenging program opens alumni to a network of success and will forge relationships to last a student their entire career, in and out of the military.

    Outside Interests

    • Adventure! Whether that is traveling, hiking, meeting new people, trying a new restaurant, or taking a journey into a book. All of which is better when surrounded by my family and animals.
