My time as a student at Ouachita helped me develop a deeper love of God and a love of learning that has continued to foster my curiosity, shape my beliefs, and solidify my worldview. Connecting well with professors, forming intentional relationships with peers, and receiving spiritual encouragement and nourishment from men and women of faith has contributed immensely to my growth academically, relationally, and spiritually. My experiences at Ouachita have shaped and informed my passion for the future of Baptist colleges and universities. I am grateful for the support of the Ouachita family as I pursue a doctoral degree at Baylor University to prepare future influencers who see value in a faith-integrated and faith-informed college education.
