Register for at least one hour
All students must be registered for at least one hour of graduate credit during the semester of intended graduation. Please contact your advisor for more information.
There are many deadlines during your final semester that you must be aware of and meet. These include, but are not limited to, filing for graduation, Dissertation and Theses defense, oral exams, and satisfaction of the foreign language requirement. Make sure that you mark these dates on your calendar. View the calendar
File for Graduation - May 2021 (Masters and Doctoral Students only)
The deadline has been updated to Feb 3, 2021. Students who have met all of the requirements of their degree and wish to declare their intent to graduate must apply to graduate in BearWeb. Please see the attached instructions. Please note: If you are a joint student, you only need to submit an intent for one program. Both programs will be updated. If you are a PhD student graduating with your master’s on the way, please contact Alana Schaeper to do so. You may also contact Alana Schaeper with any additional questions or if you run into any issues.
Purchase or Rent your Regalia
Regalia for all Master degrees is purchased through the Baylor Bookstore and should be in stock by the middle of the semester. Please contact the bookstore directly at (254) 710-2161 for any questions.
Regalia for the Educational Specialist (EdS) degree is purchased through the Baylor Bookstore and should be in stock by the middle of the semester. Please contact the bookstore directly at (254) 710-2161 for any questions.
Regalia for Doctoral Degrees is purchased or rented through the Graduate School. The rental fee is $80.00. The purchase price for the Robe, Hood and Tam is $1,018.18 which includes tax and shipping. The purchased regalia takes 8 weeks to deliver. Contact Sandra Harman for further information.
Check on Commencement
Walking - It is assumed that you will walk in the commencement ceremony. If you are unable to attend then you must let the Registrar's office know.
Diploma - You will receive your actual diploma during the commencement ceremony as long as you filed at least 8 weeks prior to graduation. If you have filled out the Non-participation form then your diploma will be mailed to you after the ceremony. This may take up to two weeks.
Transcript - An official transcript will be available after five business days from Academic Records.
