Mental Health Ally Opportunity for Faculty/Staff/Graduate Students

Become a Mental Health First Aider. Mental Health First Aid is a course designed to teach you how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental illness and substance use disorders. The skills developed in this class will give you the ability to reach out and provide initial help when someone might be developing a mental health or substance use problem. Attendees will walk away certified as a mental health first aider and receive a special mental health ally pin!

Register at this link or by visiting ignite learning. Training will be on 5/11 from 8:30-3 pm at the BSB Room E234.

If you have previously completed a QPR training with the counseling center, completing the Mental Health First Aid training will allow you to become officially Baylor certified as a Mental Health Ally!

Student Government airport shuttle will be making a one-way trip to the DFW international airport this Thursday, May 11th. There's still time left to buy your ticket! The shuttle will load at 7:30 am outside of the SUB, depart campus at 8:00 am, and arrive at the airport at approximately 10:30 am. Please note: •	There is a strict 3-bag limit. This does not include any carry-on items such as backpacks or small luggage. •	We can not haul any oversized luggage. Unfortunately, the shuttle is limited in cargo space, and while we wish we could accommodate everyone's needs, there simply isn't enough room for large objects. •	Flights must have a scheduled departure time after 12:00 pm on the morning of your trip.
