The emphasis of this group is to explore who and how we’ve become. The mode of exploration will be through story. We all have stories that have shaped the way we view ourselves and how we relate to others. We also have stories we tell ourselves to make sense of our experiences. Your stories were meant to be heard and your desire to be understood is a natural part of the human experience. In this group, we will explore aspects of our stories; likely increasing understanding into how they were formed and/or how they have impacted us. We will do this through guided facilitation by leaders and a small group of peers. In addition to increasing self-awareness, a goal for this space is to learn how we become known and learn to know others in a meaningful way. The group will be running this Spring on Thursday 3-4:30. If you are interested, please contact the Baylor Counseling Center at 254-710-2467.
