TRAINING

Baylor University requires that adult supervisors of youth programs and camps complete the Baylor University KEEPING OUR MINORS SAFE TRAINING every 2 calendar years to safeguard the welfare of minors who use Baylor facilities or are involved with Baylor-related programs and activities. This approved course assists our efforts to educate faculty, staff, students, volunteers, contractors, and consultants on how to minimize the threat of child abuse and to respond promptly and effectively should abuse be observed, suspected or disclosed.

Staff or volunteers that have not met the training requirement(but do have background check) are prohibited from unsupervised contact with minors and must be supervised by an adult supervisor that has met the training requirements.
