Training

EVERY TWO YEARS, Adult Supervisors for Youth Programs must successfully complete Baylor University KEEPING OUR MINORS SAFE TRAINING course. This approved course assists our efforts to educate faculty, staff, students, volunteers, contractors, and consultants on how to minimize the threat of child abuse and to respond promptly and effectively should abuse be observed, suspected or disclosed.

Persons that have not met the training requirement are prohibited from One on One Contact (supervising) with minor participants and therefor, must be supervised by an Adult Supervisor who has met the training requirement.

The Program Director is responsible for ensuring that program staff identified as Adult Supervisors have met the training requirement have supervision responsibility.

Questions regarding passwords, requirements, online or group training opportunities, can be directed to protectionofminors@baylor.edu or call 254-710-3867.
